Driving Directions

From the North:
Head south along I—5 to Exit 167, Mercer Street.
Stay in the right—hand lane and follow the sign that says Seattle Center. Go to the light and turn left onto Valley Street.
Stay in the right—hand lane and turn right at the light, which is Westlake Avenue N. This is a right—hand lane turn only. Stay on this road for three miles, as Westlake Avenue turns into Nickerson Street.
Keep following this road until you see a sign that says W. Emerson Street, Ballard Bridge and Fisherman’s Terminal. Go to the stop sign and turn left. Follow the road around until you come to another stop sign and then turn left. Stay in the left—hand lane and go through two stoplights. At the stop sign, turn right onto Gilman Avenue (across the street is a telephone with a sign for Fort Lawton). Gilman Avenue turns into Government Way. Go approximately one mile and you will see the entrance to Discovery Park.
Follow the road up the hill until you see Utah Avenue—the street sign is on the right side of the road. Turn left onto Utah Avenue and continue to the housing area, turning left onto Hawaii Circle. This is a one—way street. Follow the road around until you see 1137 Colorado St. We are on the right—hand side about halfway down.

From the Seattle ferry terminal:
Turn left from the ferry terminal onto Alaskan Way. Follow the road across the railroad tracks and continue on Alaskan Way. At the stop light, turn left onto Elliott Avenue, which turns into 15th Street.
Stay on 15th Street until you reach Darvus Street, then turn left. Go to the next light, which is 20th Street, and turn right. Stay on this road for about two miles, as the name of the street changes from 20th Street to Gilman Avenue and finally, to Government Way.
Follow the road into Discovery Park. Go up the hill until you see Utah Avenue—the street sign is on the right side of the road. Turn left and continue to the housing area, turning left onto Hawaii Circle. This is a one—way street. Follow the road around until you see 1137 Colorado St. We are on the right—hand side about halfway down.

Driving Directions

From the north:
Head south along Highway 3 towards Silverdale/Bremerton. Go past the Bainbridge/Poulsbo exit. Exit at Highway 308 and head west to Kitsap Naval Base—Bangor. At the main gate, continue along Trident Boulevard to the junction, and then turn left onto Trigger Avenue. Turn right at the stop light onto Thresher Avenue and continue past the housing to the Olympic Haus, on the right as you go down a hill.

From the south:
Head north along Highway 3 towards Poulsbo. Go past the Silverdale exit. Exit at Trigger Avenue and head west to Trigger Gate. After entering the base, continue through the second stop light and turn left onto Thresher Avenue. Continue past the housing to the Olympic Haus, on the right as you go down a hill. Alternatively, continue along to Highway 308 and turn to the west, following the instructions for arriving from the north.
