March 2010 Construction Update

Work around the Puget Sound region has been in full swing for quite some time but it has finally started to wind down. Some of the exciting work that has been going on will surely benefit all of our residents and their families.

Community centers are in various stages of construction at all of our communities. The NBK Bangor community center, located on Bonefish, is scheduled to be completed by early this June. The Crescent Harbor and Maylor Point community centers, located at NAS Whidbey Island, are scheduled for completion in June and the Oriole community center by July. The newest community center at Constitution Park, for our NS Everett families, is scheduled for completion in August. We look forward to opening up these community centers and allowing our residents to enjoy all that they have to offer. But please be mindful that completion dates are based on having all inspections completed on time and avoiding unforeseen issues like inclement weather which could delay these dates.

Other construction work involved the installation and renovations of many teen and youth playgrounds at most of our communities. Nice weather and new play equipment will certainly bring smiles to many faces.

Work will continue as the mild weather holds and we are able to complete all of the landscaping work involved with many of these projects. We appreciate all of the patience exhibited by our residents as we work to complete these projects.
